Château Bel Air belongs to the Sainte-Croix-du-Mont appelletion. The land is situated in one of the oldest known parts of this terroir. Passed down from generation to generation it is still in the hands of the same family. Jean Guy Méric who was born and grew up here, has taken over from his parents and now continues to run and manage the Vignobles Méric. Château Bel Air is the best known of the different wines produced on the Méric estate. It is typical of wines from the Sainte-Croix-du-Mont appellation and compares favorably with the famous sweet wines. The domaine also produces wines made from vines grown in neighbouring parcels and areas that come under other appellations.

Winemaking is an Art which is practiced with passion and the true respect for tradition
